Every production places unique physical and mental demands on the people who bring it to life. On Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Film Physios were proud to support both the talent in front of the camera and the professionals working tirelessly behind it.

Working as part of the wider production team, our healthcare professionals provided physiotherapy, osteopathy and performance support throughout rehearsals and filming. From principal cast, stunt performers and the director to the hundreds of crew members responsible for keeping production moving, our role was simple: minimise downtime, maximise performance and help people stay production-ready.

Supporting Cast Performance

Our team worked closely with principal cast, stunt performers and the director, providing rapid access to specialist healthcare throughout rehearsals and filming. Whether preparing for physically demanding scenes, managing injuries, recovering between filming days or simply providing a reassuring presence on set, we were on hand whenever support was needed, alongside the medical team.

Treatment combined hands-on physiotherapy and osteopathy with movement assessment, rehabilitation, recovery strategies, exercise prescription and return-to-performance planning, helping key members of the production remain comfortable, resilient and ready to perform throughout the shoot.

Keeping Crew Healthy Behind the Camera

Behind the camera, our Crew Clinics and on-set services provided rapid access to healthcare for every department. Camera operators, grips, sparks, costume, hair and make-up, construction teams, assistant directors, production staff and many others were able to access expert treatment for the aches, pains and injuries that naturally arise during demanding production schedules.

Alongside injury management, our team delivered on-set chair massage, recovery advice, rehabilitation programmes and personalised exercise plans, helping reduce fatigue, improve recovery between shoot days and keep individuals performing at their best; keeping the production productive.
