The Film Physios: The Healthcare Team behind the Scenes
Who can use your services?
Anyone working in front or behind the camera. Our service is open to crew, studio staff and cast.
Physio? Osteo? Massage? Which one suits your requirements?
An Osteopath can successfully treat joint pain, postural issues, chronic muscular pain, long term lower back pain, headaches and neck pain, TMJ and TMD, or symptoms linked to arthritic or inflammatory conditions.
A Physiotherapist can successfully help with the above, injury rehabilitation and recovery, mobility, strength, and post operative care.
Massage is a great accompaniment to your Osteo and Physio appointments. It also assists in managing physical and mental stress and chronically tight muscles.
How can I get the best results from my treatment?
- Be open and honest. Everything shared is done so in the strictest confidence. Clearly describe your symptoms, how they affect your work and daily life, and any concerns you may have. The more accurate and honest the information, the better care we can provide.
- Share your work demands- physically and mentally. It’s important for us to understand your role as this will tailor advice and treatment accordingly.
- Ask questions. Don’t hesitate to ask about your diagnosis, treatment options or anything you dint understand. Your appointment is a space for you to feel fully informed as this will enable you to make informed decisions.
- Follow up on advice. Whether its doing your home exercises, applying self care tips, or modifying certain work or leisure activities, following the guidance between sessions will accelerate your progress.
- Set realistic goals with your practitioner: discuss what you want to achieve and in what time frame. This helps guide your sessions and keeps things focused.
